About this Lead, Inbound Destination Operations (Dallas) role at Logitech

Logitech · Hybrid · Offsite - USA - TX

Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead, Inbound Destination Operations based in our Dallas, TX office to oversee and drive global inbound logistics efficiency across all global Distribution Centers (DCs). While this is an individual contributor role without direct reports, high-impact leadership, ownership, and end-to-end accountability are paramount. This role carries direct responsibility for high-complexity regions, specifically 2 AMR FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) DCs and 3 LATAM DCs, managing necessary changes in logistics operations following trade compliance policy adjustments, importation complexity, and destination container security.

Working closely with our 4PL control tower teams in Asia and Mexico and 3PL partners globally, you will serve as the primary escalation point for internal and external stakeholders, building robust cross-functional trust and credibility across our end-to-end supply chain network. The ideal candidate seamlessly balances deep, hands-on operational execution in US and LATAM inbound processes with acting as a confident ambassador and representative for Logitech—balancing service quality and cost efficiency, upholding compliance and process integrity, and continuously driving operational excellence for all inbound containers into global DCs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound & Control Tower Operations: Oversee inbound logistics operations into AMR FTZ DCs and LATAM DCs, ensuring strict adherence to trade compliance, importation rules, and destination container security standards. Collaborate closely with 4PL control tower teams in Asia and Mexico, serving as the primary escalation lead for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Practical Business Analysis & Analytics: Perform hands-on, practical business analysis to translate complex logistics data into actionable operational strategies. Leverage advanced analytics using Asana, AI tools, and Power BI dashboards to evaluate network performance, maintain EDI data quality, improve ETA accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner & Stakeholder Representation: Lead the comprehensive review and updating of international freight Statement of Work (SOW) documents (including Ocean, Air and all other ship modes) prior to contract reviews with Freight Forwarders (FFs). Directly represent Logitech Inbound Logistics with external suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PL/4PL partners, and DC warehouse management partners, serving as a proud and effective brand ambassador. Drive vendor performance evaluations, scorecard reviews (MBR/QBR), onboarding, SLA compliance, and service improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with 4PL, 3PL, DC warehouse management, Global CSC, Trade Compliance, and Logistics Procurement to align Inbound plans, optimize service levels, and mitigate supply disruptions. Cultivate trust, influence, and peer credibility through strong execution and deep domain expertise.
  • Risk & Exception Management: Design and enforce strict escalation and remediation processes for any operation disruptions, like critical in-transit issues, including severe delays, missing seals, theft cases, or severe cargo discrepancies requiring documentation revisions for Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) receipts. Maintain cargo security frameworks and risk mitigation strategies across all active transportation networks.
  • Project Execution & Process Innovation: Lead inbound supply chain optimization initiatives (network design, lead time reduction, container utilization, and landed cost control) to maximize operational efficiency and achieve cost targets. Direct logistics projects using tools like Asana to track milestones and status. Drive long-term process optimization beyond daily operational firefighting while fostering strong teamwork and fresh perspectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in global logistics or transportation management, with extensive hands-on expertise in US & LATAM inbound logistics operations, FTZ procedures, customs/trade compliance.
  • Proven experience operating within or leading an end-to-end logistics control tower.
  • Deep expertise and hands-on operational experience with the Global logistics market, including carrier networks, customs, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong hands-on business analysis capabilities, with proven proficiency in building actionable dashboards/reports (e.g., Asana) and leveraging quantitative data to solve logistics challenges.
  • Track record of driving mid-term and long-term process optimization and strategic CIPs rather than focusing strictly on daily operational firefighting.
  • Demonstrated individual leadership, strong sense of ownership, and personal accountability to drive operational success without needing direct reports.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with a track record of building cross-functional trust, influence, and credibility among peers and external partners while representing Logitech professionally.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budget management, landed cost modeling, and freight audit support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the practical application of AI in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Project Management: PMP certified and project software skill user, specifically Asana.
  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume global organization.
  • Ability to work in a Dallas-based hybrid model (3 days/week commitment to WFO)
