Overview: The role is for an Electronics Design Engineer supporting Electronics Design and MATLAB based analysis for airborne aerospace applications. The engineer will support the development of electrical designs, schematics, operational diagrams, design calculations, MATLAB models/scripts, and technical documentation to ensure designs meet defined requirements and specifications.


The role will involve supporting electrical testing, troubleshooting, debugging, data analysis, and resolution of technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support design development, integration, verification, qualification, and production activities.


Education & Experience


. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience in electronics design and development, preferably in Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, or Power Electronics.

• Experience supporting electronics product development through multiple stages of the product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, simulation, integration, testing, verification, and qualification.

• Basic understanding of product-level requirements analysis, requirements allocation, interfaces, and electronics architecture.


Key Responsibilities


. Support the development of robust, reliable, cost-effective, and technically compliant electronics solutions for aerospace applications. • Develop and review electronic circuits, schematics, design calculations, and engineering documentation independently

• Perform circuit-level analysis, simulation, feasibility studies, and design trade-off evaluations.

• Perform engineering calculations related to power consumption, component ratings, electrical performance, thermal behavior, and circuit margins.

• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models and scripts for electrical system analysis, circuit behavior evaluation, data processing, and engineering calculations.

Support electronics architecture development, interface definition, design implementation, integration, verification, and qualification activities.

• Support design verification and testing, including test setup preparation, test execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, and technical reporting.

• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions such as PDR, CDR, TRR, and internal design reviews.

• Identify technical risks, design issues, interface problems, and potential failure modes and escalate them appropriately to senior engineers.

• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design descriptions, schematics, calculations, simulation results, test reports, and technical analyses.

Support compliance with applicable aerospace standards, customer requirements, and product specifications, including DO-160 and DO-254 where applicable.

• Support product qualification, verification, and production transition activities. • Participate in lessons-learned activities and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, design methodologies, and development practices.

• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones within agreed schedules and quality requirements.
