Partner with the best
You will be responsible for the Control System design for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Compressors driven Compressor and Generator applications. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible 
for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.
 

As a Control System Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Defining Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)

• Defining the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Compressor Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs 

• Defining and verifying functional safety requirements of Control System architecture based on internal and international standards (IEC61508 and IEC61511) 

• Collaborating the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.

• Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting, and developing new ideas

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have BSc. or MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.

• Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.

• Be familiar with PLC architecture, computer networks, and industrial Safety principles

• Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others

• Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.

• Be fluent in spoken and written English.

Would represent a plus:

• Have proven working experience in an engineering position for Control design.

• Meaningful prior experience in an Energy Transition related business or industry.

For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
