Why this role is important for us

The Lead Analyst, Client Representation at SimCorp, is one of two on-location representatives for Securities Operations in Sydney — SimCorp's first APAC-region on-site presence for the Investment Operations Services (IOS) team. Working day-to-day alongside the Sydney Principal Analyst, this role owns first-line triage and resolution of client queries across all six Securities Operations domains (Trade Processing, Asset Servicing, Reconciliation, Delivery Excellence, Operational Data Management, and Claims & CSDR) for a portfolio of APAC asset management and managed-service clients, including one on-site managed-service (BPO) engagement. This role depends on wide-ranging cross-domain expertise, effective relationship management, and close daily collaboration with teams in Manila and Noida. The Lead Analyst provides backup coverage for the on-site SME function when the Principal Analyst is unavailable.


Requirements: 5+ years of experience in securities operations or a client-facing operations position.


What you will be responsible for

  • Triage and resolve client queries across all six Securities Operations domains, escalating only genuine exceptions to the Principal Analyst
  • Support client onboarding activities in the APAC timezone, coordinating readiness with delivery teams in Manila and Noida
  • Maintain the day-to-day feedback channel between clients and the relevant delivery team(s), ensuring issues and requirements are relayed accurately and promptly
  • Provide backup coverage for the Principal Analyst / on-site SME function, including attendance at governance or service-review meetings when required
  • Build and maintain working-level relationships with client operational and business contacts
  • Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to regional support and coordination analysts working on the client relationship
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, escalations, and resolutions to support governance and audit requirements
  • Provide on-site oversight support for managed-service (BPO) operations in Sydney
  • Stay current on Securities Operations processes across all six functional domains to provide informed, business-aware support to clients and internal stakeholders alike
