RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all laboratory EHSQ rules are followed strictly, for example sample labelling, chemical handling and storage, operation of extruder, spray booth and oven etc.
• Be capable to operate extruder and spray booth. Well understand the mechnical structure of extruder.
• Following lab SOP to conduct powder coating application tests as per the instruction from supervisors. Be capable to provide suggestions to projects from lab testing point of views.
• Ensure proper documentation of evaluation results, file all test data by using lab books and entering raw data to ART database.
• Summarize test results by drafting a test report.
• Be capable to build-up application knowledge in our own or customer coating systems.
• Strong willingness to improve technical understanding and knowledge of coating for further self-development.
• Ensure the cleanliness in the lab and in the sample storage room.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of lab experience with a proven track record in powder coating company. Experience with powder coating products manufacturing and technical service is preferred.
• Prefer Bachelor in organic chemistry, polymer science, chemical engineering, or a related field
• Candidate must have a good safety record and be capable of comunicating and working with multiple projects and colleagues within the technical organization.
• Basic computer skills such as MS Office are required.
• Be able to write reports/email in English
