Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Support Seasoning Flavorists in developing innovative seasonings for snack & bakery applications. 
• Accurately compound flavor formulations by following established processes, formulas and safety requirements. 
• Measure powder flow and functionality data using specialized testing equipment. 
• Ensure development samples are applied and presented to the highest standard using appropriate seasoning technologies and methodologies. 
• Handle, organize and prepare raw materials, including weighing, labeling, and measuring physical properties as needed. 
• Maintain an efficient, well-organized laboratory and support raw material and flavor stock transfers. 
• Prepare raw materials, solutions, and samples for evaluations, ensuring readiness for sensory and application work. 
• Follow all laboratory and plant safety procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in a Food or laboratory environment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid practical mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations related to formulations, dilutions, measurements, and sample preparation.
• Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions, formulas, laboratory procedures, and standard operating processes.
• Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn new technical and sensory evaluation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
• Ability to assess sensory characteristics of flavors and food products through tasting and evaluation activities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, cleanliness, and laboratory best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

How Would You Stand Out

• Previous laboratory experience in food, flavor, ingredients, beverage, or consumer goods industries.
• Hands-on experience with flavor application, seasoning development, sample preparation, or sensory evaluation.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, testing methodologies, and data collection processes.
• Knowledge of snack, bakery, seasoning, or flavor technologies.
• Experience working within GMP, food safety, or quality management systems.
• Passion for food innovation, sensory science, and flavor creation.
