For Season 2027, we are looking for a passionate Kitchen Trainee to join the culinary team at MarBella Corfu.

The Role

As a Kitchen Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in a professional luxury kitchen, working alongside experienced chefs and developing practical cooking, preparation and food-safety skills.

A Day in the Job

A professional kitchen runs on preparation, teamwork and consistent attention to quality and hygiene.

Here's what a typical day at MarBella could look like:

•        You assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.

•        You support the daily mise en place and preparation of kitchen stations.

•        You learn and apply professional cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

•        You maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene standards across workstations and equipment.

•        You follow all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.

•        You assist with the receipt, checking and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.

•        You work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth daily operations.

•        You take an active role in the learning and training opportunities provided throughout the internship.

Is This You?

Essential qualifications:

•        Current student or recent graduate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or a related field.

•        Genuine passion for cooking and eagerness to develop professional culinary skills.

•        Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

•        Team spirit and good communication skills.

•        Ability to work effectively in a dynamic hospitality environment.

•        Flexibility regarding shifts, weekends and holidays.

•        Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Additional qualifications – a plus:

•        Good knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
