Kids Cave Team Member

Position Summary

The Kids Cave Team Member provides a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children while their parents enjoy the amenities of River Place Country Club. This role is responsible for supervising children, facilitating age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean and organized space, and delivering exceptional member service to club families. River Place's Kids Place program offers childcare services that allow members to utilize the club's fitness, dining, golf, tennis, and social amenities. [riverplaceclub.com], [arcisgolf.com]

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise children in a safe, attentive, and caring manner.
• Provide age-appropriate games, crafts, activities, and entertainment.
• Ensure children follow Kids Cave rules and safety guidelines.
• Create a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families.
• Monitor and maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized childcare environment.
• Assist with snack times and communicate any child needs or concerns to parents.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures according to club standards.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or behavioral issues.
• Communicate professionally with members and fellow team members.
• Assist with special events, holiday programs, camps, and family activities as needed.
• Ensure all club policies regarding child supervision and safety are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to interact positively with children of various ages.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong child supervision and safety awareness.
• Ability to lead group activities and engage children in a positive manner.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm when working with children.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced family environment.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to actively participate in games and activities with children.
• Ability to work indoors for extended periods while maintaining supervision of multiple children.

Work Environment

• Indoor childcare facility within River Place Country Club.
• Frequent interaction with children, parents, members, and club staff.
• Schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and special event hours.
