Funding Societies is looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join our wider ‘IT & Information Security’ Team to serve with obsession and provide superior support to our employees (our customers), and to support us in achieving compliance with the regulatory requirements in the countries that we operate in.

Requirements
What you will do:
1. IT Support & User Experience
- Configure and deploy desktops/laptops/mobile devices for employees under guidance from senior team members.
- Support user on-boarding and off-boarding processes and help identify ways to improve the experience.
- Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for endpoints, network devices, and peripheral issues.
- Support awareness training sessions for users.
- Provide first- and second-tier technical support for user access enquiries.
- Actively manage tickets and participate in project meetings/audits/inspections.
2. IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Help build, maintain, and update the inventory of IT assets.
- Support regional IT infrastructure needs across multiple locations as directed.
- Assist with operations and requests related to directory and authentication systems.
- Help ensure company-issued laptops comply with baseline standards (patches, configurations, etc.).
- Support periodic audits on user access to systems.
3. Projects & Processes
- Assist in documenting and improving IT support procedures and checklists.
- Assist in creating, modifying, and troubleshooting Jira Project boards.
- Participate in ongoing and new projects within the IT team.
4. Automation & AI
- Learn to write basic scripts to help automate repetitive tasks under guidance.
- Help monitor automation systems and support regular maintenance activities.
- Explore and use AI tools to improve support efficiency, streamline troubleshooting, and enhance documentation and knowledge sharing.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may also be considered).
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace, JumpCloud (or similar directory/authentication tools), remote support and administration, Windows & macOS, iOS & Android OS.
- Some exposure to computer networks, network administration, IT hardware, and software installation.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and work with different functional groups across the organization.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills, with an interest in using data to support recommendations.
