Your Role with Us

As a Junior Core Systems Specialist, you will play an important role in keeping AIA’s core insurance platforms running smoothly, securely, and reliably. Working within the Core Platforms team and supported by experienced technology professionals, you will help maintain and enhance our Policy Administration System, connected applications, and Azure cloud environments.
This is an opportunity to build your technical expertise across support, development, cloud technologies, and integrations while partnering with colleagues, vendors, and business teams to deliver meaningful improvements.

Your work will directly contribute to better customer experiences, stronger operational performance, and the ongoing evolution of AIA’s technology landscape.

Your Impact

  • Resolve incidents and service requests efficiently to maintain reliable and seamless platform performance.
  • Support enhancements, fixes, and system changes that improve functionality, stability, and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to integrations, APIs, and data flows that strengthen connectivity across critical insurance systems.
  • Monitor and support Azure-hosted environments to enhance system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify risks early and help implement practical solutions that protect security, compliance, and service continuity.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes and continuous improvement.

Your Capabilities

  • You have experience supporting applications, platforms, or software solutions and enjoy solving technical challenges through structured analysis.
  • You bring knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and an interest in building your expertise across cloud technologies and modern platform support.
  • You have exposure to development, scripting, automation, APIs, or system integrations and enjoy creating efficient, scalable solutions.
  • You bring strong communication skills and build positive working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have a proactive approach to ownership, prioritisation, and delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • You may also have experience within insurance or financial services, or exposure to DevOps, ITIL, Ctl-M , AMPS or Azure certifications.
