About this Junior AI Engineer role at Control Risks

The Junior AI Engineer will work with the broader Data Engineering team. They will focus on the use of Microsoft AI platforms mainly Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Power Platform to build analyse solutions, develop proofs of concept, and contribute to the creation of scalable, enterprise wide AI solutions.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

  • Fast-paced delivery of low-code/no-code POCs (Proof of Concepts) to test the resolution of business problems and address them where possible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand and analyse business requirements.
  • Processing raw data transformation, feature creation & feature selection.
  • Implement machine learning, AI models, Agentic AI models and integrate them into existing systems using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Power Platform.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and retraining of machine learning and AI models.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize AI solutions that address business challenges.
  • Support the automation of business processes through AI and data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and data analytics.
  • Provide technical insights and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase AI capabilities and benefits.

Who You Are:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably with exposure to AI and machine learning tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R or SQL.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms like Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Power Platform.
  • Proven experience in business analysis with organisations of various size and complexity.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills with good fluency in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, possessing the confidence to build relationships with all levels of stakeholder.
  • Understanding of Git Version control, Agile development, data security and governance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Certifications in AI, data analysis, or related areas are a plus.
  • Knowledge of low-code development and business automation is advantageous.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
  • Experience of development on both Dataverse and other sources like Sharepoint
  • Any Power Platform certification will be an advantage
