We’re looking for a hands-on Jira Administrator to take ownership of our existing Jira and Jira Service Management instance and deliver a key integration with CrowdStrike.
Your activities will include:
- Design and implement the integration between JSM and CrowdStrike Falcon — connecting Falcon alerts and detections to JSM tickets for structured incident triage and response
- Administer and optimize our existing Jira Software and JSM instance — workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, SLA configurations, and queues
- Configure bidirectional sync between JSM and CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, ensuring alert status, assignment, and resolution data flows accurately between platforms
- Build automation rules and escalation workflows that reflect our security operations process end-to-end
- Maintain API and webhook configurations, troubleshoot integration failures, and keep the connection between platforms reliable
- Work closely with the security team to align JSM queues and SLAs with CrowdStrike detection severity and incident classification
- Document all configurations and changes clearly
Requirements
- Strong, demonstrable experience administering Jira Software and Jira Service Management
- Hands-on experience integrating JSM with CrowdStrike Falcon — including the Falcon platform’s native Jira connector or API-based integration
- Working knowledge of CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM and how detections and incidents surface for downstream ticketing workflows
- Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and Jira Automation or ScriptRunner for workflow logic
- Able to work independently, UK business hours, with good async communication
Nice to have
- Atlassian certification (ACP-100 or equivalent)
- Broader CrowdStrike Falcon platform experience (Endpoint, Identity, Spotlight)
- Experience in security operations or MSP environment
