Responsibilities:

Develop new Risk applications and enhance existing applications using Java.

Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team with colleagues based in Budapest and other international locations.

Design and develop distributed data processing and calculation solutions for large datasets.

Write and maintain complex SQL queries and work with large-scale data.

Contribute to application and data model design.

Apply DevOps practices and modern software development methodologies.

Contribute to shaping the technology and tooling landscape of Risk Management.

Support the introduction of technology solutions that enable more efficient business processes and help meet regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams in an international environment.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java.

Solid SQL skills, including the ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.

Experience in application and data model design.

Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an international team.

Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and concepts.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with large-scale databases.

Previous experience in Risk Management / Financial Risk.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
