POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our organization, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the server, cloud, virtualization, storage and back up services. This position will also provide automation and operational support, lifecycle management, and infrastructure project delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Administer windows Server systems, service accounts and certificates
· Install, maintain, and troubleshoot physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted servers.
· Plan and execute operating system, firmware, platform, and application patching.
· Administer cloud, virtualization, and storage support including VMware virtualization, Micorsoft Azure, and NetApp Storage
· Administer Veeam backup and recovery operations
· Maintain disaster recovery procedures, system dependencies, recovery documentation, backup evidence, and scheduled recovery exercises.
· Monitor system availability, capacity, performance, security events, and operational alerts.
· Resolve system incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
· Perform vulnerability remediation, system hardening, log review, access reviews, audit support, and compliance-related administration in coordination with Cybersecurity.
· Provide on-call, after-hours incident, and scheduled maintenance support when required.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
· Possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Equivalent relevant experience may be considered).
· 5+ years of experience supporting systems in a multi-site enterprise environment.
· Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware, storage, backup, Azure or AWS, and hybrid infrastructure.
· Hands-on experience with Veeam, NetApp, or comparable enterprise platforms.
· Working knowledge of incident, problem, change, configuration, asset, security, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
· Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical judgment.
· Clear communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and vendors.
· Ability to prioritize incidents, maintenance, and projects in a distributed environment.
· Accurate documentation, planning, change validation, and knowledge sharing.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining security and service continuity.
· Experience with PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, Python, APIs, or other automation tools would be considered an asset.
