Compensation: up to $34/hr
Schedule (Full-Time)
- Monday & Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Cotulla Education is seeking a Campus IT Support Technician Level 1 to provide hands-on technology support at our campus. This position serves as a primary point of contact for day-to-day IT needs, supporting employees and students with computers, technology equipment, software, hardware, network systems, and other technical needs.
We’re looking for someone who brings a “listen, learn, how can I help” mentality and enjoys solving problems while providing excellent customer service. You’ll work directly with campus employees and students while partnering closely with our Home Office IT team to maintain consistent technology, security, and support standards across the organization.
About the Role
As a Campus IT Support Technician Level 1, you’ll provide hands-on technical support while helping maintain campus IT infrastructure, computers, network equipment, and telecommunications. You’ll troubleshoot and configure technology, manage equipment and user access, support routine maintenance and security activities, and serve as the campus Help Desk for IT-related questions.
This position operates within a hybrid management structure. Technical direction and IT oversight are provided by the Home Office IT Department, while campus leadership provides day-to-day administrative oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the campus point of contact for IT questions and provide timely, professional customer service
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, maintain, install, and test computer equipment
- Configure and set up computers, laptops, and other technology
- Support campus IT infrastructure, computer systems, network equipment, and VOIP communications
- Maintain, safeguard, track, and store hardware, software, and computer equipment
- Monitor and support systems including Atera, Capture Client, Active Directory, and Intune
- Assign computer equipment and assist users with equipment, system access, and proper use
- Maintain portal login information for students and employees
- Perform routine patching, updates, firmware maintenance, vulnerability remediation, and other scheduled IT maintenance
- Support equipment inventory, warranty claims, repairs, and related documentation
- Assist other campuses with IT needs as requested by the Home Office IT Department
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience & Technical Skills
- Strong troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, network printers, and other desktop and cloud-based applications
- Experience with Intune and/or Local Active Directory is a plus
- Basic knowledge of RMM tools, endpoint protection, scripting, and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with campus and Home Office teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
Certifications
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent highly desirable
Additional Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities associated with installing, maintaining, and moving IT equipment
