About the Role
Lendz Financial is seeking an experienced and resourceful IT Specialist to serve as the primary onsite technology resource for our office. In this hands-on role, you’ll keep employees connected and productive by resolving technical issues, maintaining office technology, and delivering responsive support across the organization.

As the sole onsite IT team member and the first point of contact for incoming IT tickets, you’ll assess requests, prioritize urgent needs, and resolve in-person issues involving equipment, connectivity, account access, and authentications. You’ll work closely with our remote IT team to route requests appropriately and coordinate support when additional expertise is needed.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while responding quickly to time-sensitive issues. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and owning the day-to-day technology needs of a busy office, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary onsite IT resource and first point of contact for incoming IT tickets, assessing requests and prioritizing urgent needs
  • Provide timely, hands-on support for employee hardware, software, connectivity, account access, and authentication issues
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, phones, and other office equipment
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning, access changes, and equipment collection
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity, conference room equipment, and other shared office technology
  • Assist employees with business applications, productivity tools, and mortgage technology platforms
  • Partner with the remote IT team to route requests appropriately, coordinate escalations, and support system rollouts and other technology initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, equipment inventory, and configurations
  • Identify recurring problems and opportunities to improve support processes and reduce disruptions
  • Provide practical training and guidance to help employees use technology effectively

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, systems administration, or a comparable role
  • Experience troubleshooting operating systems, business applications, user accounts, computer hardware, printers, and network connectivity
  • Ability to investigate unfamiliar issues, research solutions, and resolve technical problems with minimal supervision
  • Experience assessing incoming support tickets, prioritizing urgent requests, and recognizing when additional support or escalation is needed
  • Patient, approachable manner and a commitment to providing responsive employee support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly to nontechnical employees
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain clear documentation of support activity, equipment, and recurring issues
  • Working knowledge of access controls, endpoint security, and secure handling of sensitive business information
  • Ability to work fully in office and provide hands-on support throughout the workday

What We Offer

  • Highly subsidized medical insurance
  • Low-cost dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) program
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Generous paid time off and company holidays
  • Ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment that values ownership, innovation, and growth
