Job Description:
The IT Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across a broad range of technology spend categories. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, Category Leads, Finance, Legal, and Information Security teams to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate complex supplier agreements, optimize spend, and deliver sustainable business value. The position plays a key role in driving procurement excellence, operational efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance across global procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including requirements gathering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies utilizing competitive RFx processes, eRFx tools, and e-Auctions.
- Analyze spend data, contracts, budgets, and market trends to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Category Leads to understand procurement requirements and develop sourcing pipelines.
- Create and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities.
- Negotiate complex supplier agreements and manage contract execution across multiple geographies.
- Drive supplier performance management and procurement compliance initiatives.
- Support procurement systems and operational strategies to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Information Security teams on contract drafting, risk mitigation, and negotiations.
- Resolve complex procurement issues and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders.
- Develop sourcing collateral, including business cases, contract summaries, and RFx documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, or Program Management.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end sourcing engagements and supplier negotiations.
- Expertise in IT Procurement and technology-related spend categories.
- Experience negotiating and managing contracts valued at $1M+ across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, procurement processes, and contract management.
- Ability to analyze spend patterns, contracts, supplier performance, and market trends to drive sourcing strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay platforms such as Ariba and/or Fieldglass.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Total Value Optimization (TVO) models.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Advanced sourcing strategy, deal architecture, and negotiation expertise.
- Experience working within global or multi-regional procurement organizations.
- Ability to assess sourcing marketplace trends and incorporate market intelligence into procurement strategies.
- Experience influencing senior business leaders and managing executive stakeholder relationships.
- Proven track record of driving procurement transformation, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
