Team Overview:
Our fast-paced, highly collaborative IT team is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the full spectrum of IT services for our Brazil site. This is a hands-on role where you will serve as the single point of IT accountability on the ground, ensuring the office runs smoothly and our employees stay productive. You will partner closely with Impinj's Global IT team to align local operations with company-wide technology standards, security practices, and strategic direction. This role requires on-site presence at our Porto Alegre office.
What you will do:
- Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, integrations, and processes for the Impinj Porto Alegre office, identifying and addressing gaps in design and architecture
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify business requirements, develop IT solutions, and lead site-level implementation of new systems, services, and infrastructure
- Manage local IT devices and their lifecycles such as laptops, network equipment, and mobile devices
- Lead assessment, management, and negotiation for IT equipment, services, and local Internet providers
- Own the deployment and operation of company wireless networks, including VPN
- Serve as primary support contact for remote access technologies (e.g. Exceed TurboX)
- Oversee local software licenses, license usage, license controls, and renewals
- Manage the office and lab access controls and security camera systems, including vendor contract oversight
- Deliver high-quality IT support to employees, maintaining a customer-first approach
- Coordinate and provide the IT Support for all onsite events
- Lead IT system changes and change verification
- Support local cybersecurity incident response and promote a culture of security in alignment with Information Security team guidance
- Manage the procurement and re-stocking of general supplies used at the office and support shared office responsibilities as need
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user support
- Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese required
- Experience establishing and tracking IT service metrics and driving continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, network troubleshooting, and common enterprise software
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Ability to diagnose complex issues and make independent decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid understanding of networking and switch configuration is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, HDI Support Center Manager) are a plus

Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
