Job Description
The IT Business Systems Intern will learn a mixture of business & D365 processes, work with the IT team to support the development and implementation of low-code/no-code business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools—Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI - while gaining hands-on experience in software development, and process automation.
The right candidate is analytical by nature, has aptitude toward detail and loves a fast pace. This Intern will get the opportunity to frequently be involved hands-on in various aspects of the working with business stakeholders, mainly in the support areas of customers and sales order processing.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in designing, configuring, development and deploying Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).
Build and automate workflows using Power Automate.
Participate in Agile development cycles and team projects.
Conduct testing and validation of app features and data flows.
Document business processes, user requirements, and technical specifications.
Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate inefficiencies
Create and maintain business tools that facilitate proactive decision making, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.
Analyze/ understand AS-IS & TO-BE model, and be an advocate for change.
Qualifications/Requirements
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and Office 365 development.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with workflow design and business process mapping is a plus
Create and maintain business tools that facilitate proactive decision making, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.
