About this IT Applications Specialist (2-Year Fixed-Term Contract) role at Zentiva
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Applications Specialist to support and continuously improve SAP S/4HANA and related business applications used across manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, and operational processes.
In this role, you will work closely with business users, IT colleagues, and external partners to ensure applications run smoothly, issues are resolved efficiently, and system changes are properly tested and documented. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing digitalization and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & Application Support
Provide first and second-level support for SAP S/4HANA and related business applications.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related incidents and service requests.
Monitor application performance and identify potential issues.
Support interfaces and integrations between connected systems.
Coordinate with senior IT specialists and external vendors when required.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
Testing & System Validation
Participate in application testing and validation activities.
Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other validation tests.
Document test results and support the preparation of validation documentation.
Assist in maintaining procedures, work instructions, and system-related documentation.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
Analyze recurring issues and support root cause investigations.
Contribute to corrective and preventive actions that improve system reliability.
Support application enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.
Assist with data verification and migration activities when needed.
User Support
Provide day-to-day support to end users.
Deliver user training and guidance on system functionality and best practices.
Prepare and maintain user guides and training materials.
Who We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
Experience with manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, supply chain, or production processes.
Knowledge of application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and ERP integrations.
Experience with testing, UAT, and system validation activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Professional proficiency in Romanian and English.
Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in GxP environments, CSV, MES, WMS, or other manufacturing applications is a strong plus.
