About your manager
Martin Kolesár helps leading financial institutions successfully navigate large-scale transformation programmes, from post-merger integrations and core banking modernisation to enterprise-wide rollouts and complex data migrations. With more than 15 years of experience in the banking industry, he combines a structured delivery mindset with a pragmatic approach to solving business challenges. You can expect a manager who values collaboration, ownership, and high-quality outcomes.
Job description & summary
As an IT Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions within large-scale banking transformation projects. You will be responsible for:
Analysing business environments and mapping processes in corporate lending and collateral management.
Gathering, structuring, and documenting business requirements, including impact analysis on IT systems.
Identifying opportunities for optimisation across business and technology functions.
Designing technical solutions, interfaces, and integration architectures.
Coordinating data mapping and transformation activities between systems.
Ensuring compliance with technical standards, business requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and delivery teams.
Preparing analytical documentation, use cases, data models, and integration scenarios.
Facilitating workshops and steering discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
Actively participating in Agile delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban.
What matters to us
University degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IT analysis within the banking sector.
Strong knowledge of integration technologies and APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
Experience with requirements gathering, system analysis, and solution design.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in both Czech and English.
What will help you stand out
Experience in corporate lending and collateral management domains.
Knowledge of collateral-related regulations (CRR, Basel III, etc.).
Experience with data migration and transformation initiatives.
Understanding of enterprise integration and service orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
Experience working in Agile environments and large-scale transformation programmes.
