Iseries/ AS400 Operation Admin ( 24X7 Shift) :: Bangalore

About the role

As an AS400 Operations Administrator, you will support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of IBM i (AS400) systems. You will help maintain system availability, reliability and performance while monitoring the environment, resolving technical issues and supporting backup and recovery activities.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of IBM i (AS400) systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures and compliance records.
• Support stable and efficient system operations by identifying and addressing performance or operational issues.

What you bring

• 3 - 7 years of experience in IBM i (iSeries/AS400) operations or administration.
• AS400 Administration: Strong experience in managing IBM iSeries environments.
• Backup & Recovery: Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Hardware & Software Installation: Skilled in configuring and maintaining AS400 hardware/software.
• IBM iSeries Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IBM i OS and related technologies.
• Should be willing to work in 24X7 Shift
