Sentara is hiring for an Inventory Control Specialist III

This a full time position, fully onsite and offers great benefits!

Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day stock control tasks to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals. The Inventory Control Specialist works as a part of the Stock Control Team to ensure all hospitals have adequate stock on-hand to meet demand while also meeting Sentara's expectation of providing an excellent patient experience.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Certification/Licensure

• No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

• Basic Excel proficiency, including working with existing pivot tables (refreshing, filtering, adjusting fields) is required

• Familiarity with Power Query (Preferred)

• Ability to follow documented steps to refresh and validate reports

• Critical thinking, analytical thinking.

• 3 years Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred.

• Supply Chain Healthcare experience highly desired.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $60,091.20 - $97,448.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
