Intern Finance Associate – UAE National

Position Summary

We are inviting UAE Nationals to supports financial accounting and distributor finance activities across Gulf markets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GSK accounting standards, and effective management of operational finance processes. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, distributors, and finance teams to support month-end close activities, accounts management, payment processes, and financial controls while gaining exposure to a dynamic multinational finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of accrual journals and financial reporting

• Assist in maintaining financial records and entity accounts in compliance with GSK accounting standards and finance policies

• Provide support for distributor accounting and related financial processes across Gulf markets

• Coordinate purchase-to-pay activities, including vendor creation and transaction tracking

• Review employee expense claims and supporting documentation in line with local and global policies

• Support purchase order management and three-way matching processes for distributor-related transactions

• Assist with review and validation of distributor debit notes, supplier payments, and supporting documentation

• Prepare and reconcile distributor account statements

• Support resolution of outstanding financial queries and disputed items with distributors

• Monitor payment collections and assist in clearing aging balances and open items

Basic Qualifications

• ​UAE National with family book

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field

• Good analytical and numerical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Prior exposure to SAP or other ERP systems

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• Interest in developing a career within Finance in a multinational environment

This role is based on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
