JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role Summary

You will run the day-to-day social presence of LAB's owned content properties, from

established pages to new channels being launched from zero. Publishing calendar,

content creation, community, and performance reporting, on live accounts with real

audiences.

You will sit with the team building these properties from scratch, and see how a

content bet goes from idea to pilot to something worth scaling. We are hiring for taste,

publishing discipline, and the judgement to flag something before it goes live rather

than after.

Key Responsibilities

  • Publishing and Content Operations
  • Own the day-to-day publishing calendar across multiple owned social properties, from established pages to new channels being launched from zero.
  • Create content (draft captions, hooks, and on-platform copy) that fit each property’s tone and manner. These are distinct personas, you will be expected to hold the difference between them
  • Schedule, publish, and quality-check across all social platforms.
  • Cut and adapt existing footage into platform-native formats, where needed.
  • Use the team’s content production tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to produce content at volume without losing creative craft.
  • undefined
  • Community
  • Monitor comments and DMs daily, flag anything sensitive to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a running log of audience sentiment and the comments worth acting on.

  • Performance
  • Pull weekly numbers across all social properties you support and maintain the reporting dashboard.
  • Bring a point of view on what is working, note usable observations, and propose recommended next steps.
  • Track platform trends, competitor pages, and creator formats, and bring ideas to the table.

What you will learn

Structured internship with defined learning outcomes, a mid-point review, and an end-of-internship evaluation. By the end of this internship, you should be able to:

  • Run a live social property end to end, from planning, to community, to performance reporting.
  • Understand deeply the behaviour of each social platform and how to optimise performance of each platform.
  • Read performance data and deduce and explanation on what it means and what to do next.
  • Increase your skill and knowledge on working with AI tools on a daily basis.

Who we are looking for

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of three months full-time.
  • Genuinely fluent in the usage of social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) as a user, with a strong instinct for creating content.
  • Basic editing and design ability: Canva, CapCut, or equivalent.
  • Strong written English and Bahasa Melayu.

Bonus:

  • Project management skills: planning, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and deadline delivery.
  • Experience with running a social account of your own, of any size.
  • Familiarity with social media monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, and a considered view on how they can improve efficiency, while maintaining creative craft.

·       Proficiency in Mandarin.

Working Style Fit

  • Proactive, structured, resourceful, outcomes-driven, and punctual.
  • Strong judgement and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator who can manage internal stakeholders.
