The Opportunity

We are seeking a Student Intern to support a variety of technology, analytics, and business process improvement initiatives. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience working with data, reporting tools, application development platforms, and business stakeholders across multiple functions.

The Student Intern will gain exposure to dashboard development, business process mapping, data management, documentation practices, and enterprise technology solutions while contributing to projects that improve decision-making, reporting, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps
• Analyze and manipulate data sets to support reporting and business needs
• Support business process mapping activities and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain team SharePoint sites and related content
• Prepare and deliver presentation materials for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand analytics and reporting requirements
• Maintain and update dashboards to support ongoing business needs
• Support backend data lake ingestion and data mapping activities
• Develop and maintain project and process documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree program with at least four semesters of education complete
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI and Power Apps
• Some experience with AWS tools
• Some experience programming in Python or SQL
• Project or academic experience demonstrating data analytics and data manipulation skills
• Experience working with SharePoint
• Exposure to analytics, reporting, or dashboard development
• Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
• Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity
• Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Reflective and committed to continuous improvement and personal development
