At Rolls-Royce we are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

Our Internship programmes are designed to help you build your career from day one. You'll work on meaningful projects, learn from experienced colleagues and develop the skills to make a real impact. That's Infinite Potential.

Role overview:
You’ll support the Quality and Manufacturing teams in maintaining and improving process compliance and operational efficiency. You’ll assist in analysing production data, supporting root cause investigations, and helping to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

This Internship offers hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, quality systems, and industry standards, providing a strong foundation in operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting production activities, including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, and planning aspects of the work
  • Assisting the Production Leader in identifying, assessing, and managing risks using the Rolls-Royce production system
  • Producing effective production schedules within agreed cost, timescale, and resource estimates to ensure successful delivery of production outputs
  • Ensuring that realistic production and quality plans are prepared and maintained, and helping to track all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders
  • Monitoring costs, timescales, and resource usage, and highlighting any deviations from agreed tolerances, while ensuring that delivered systems are implemented within these parameters
  • Assisting in managing the change control procedure and ensuring that production deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and are appropriately signed off
  • Preparing production, programme, and portfolio reports using data gathered from the Production Leader and information systems, with attention to accuracy and timelines

Who we’re looking for:

  • Students in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, etc.), with a preference for those studying Computer or Electrical Engineering
  • A strong drive to succeed and a willingness to see projects and tasks through to completion
  • A strategic, structured, and process-oriented approach to work, with a strong analytical ability, a confident manner, and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, with a positive attitude, open mindset, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • A strong background in systems applications/engineering, including tools such as Python, Anaconda, and Power BI, particularly for data- and systems-focused initiatives

Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We’ll expect that of you, too.

What we offer:

  • Meaningful work from day one, with the support to help you succeed
  • A culture that invests in your personal and professional development
  • The chance to grow your skills while working on real projects in a global company

Join us and help create the technologies that will shape tomorrow. If you're ready to learn, grow and make a lasting difference from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
