Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

INTERN IN BIOFUELS COMPLIANCE TEAM (Energy Trading Department)

Type of Employment: Temporary position for 6 months

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the tracking of biofuel transactions and the management of Proof of Sustainability (POS) documents;
• Assist the team in checking biofuel feedstock types, countries of origin, and greenhouse gas (GHG) savings calculations;
• Help maintain accurate data and compliance records;
• Support the improvement and automation of internal processes;
• Assist team members with daily tasks related to biofuels sustainability and compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Student in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
• Interest in renewable energy and biofuel sustainability, with a willingness to learn;
• Availability to work full-time during regular office hours, with some flexibility to accommodate your study schedule if needed;
• Fluency in English (written and oral) to communicate with colleagues in Europe
• Good computer skills, particularly in Excel;
• Willingness to learn and start using new systems;
• A precise, organized, and stress-resistant personality;
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
