Overview 

Join Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad as a Brand & Communications Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting social media, and digital marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, assisting in projects that shape our brand voice and engage our audiences. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Social Media 

  • Contribute to the development of creative assets such as visuals, videos, and copywriting, working closely with internal teams and external agencies. 

  • Assist to follow-up, provide feedback and schedule content for the company’s social media channels and other digital platforms. 

  • Assist in monitoring social media channels for trends and reporting on performance. 

  • Assist in coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment on contents. 

  • Help maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting across channels. 

 

Digital Marketing (SEO/SEM/Corporate Website Maintenance) 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure website content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with brand messaging. 

  • Assist in optimizing website content for search engines (SEO), including keyword research, metadata updates, and on-page enhancements. 

  • Support the execution and monitoring of paid search campaigns (SEM). 

  • Help analyze website traffic and performance using tools such as Google Analytics, compile reports and insights to guide strategy. 

  • Contribute to the development of website pages for new products and campaigns, ensuring alignment with digital goals and SEO best practices. 

  • Stay updated on digital trends and search engine algorithm changes to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, or a related field. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Xiaohongshu). 

  • Basic skills and experience with Microsoft Office. 

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page optimization. 

  • Basic understanding with tools such as Google Analytics and Meta. 

  • Basic experience with website content management systems (e.g., OpenCMS, Adobe Experience Manager) or willing to learn. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes for website updates and audits. 

  • Curious about digital trends, user experience (UX), and how content impacts search visibility. 

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
