About the division and the desk

The Private Bank provides comprehensive wealth management, investment, and banking solutions to individuals, entrepreneurs, and families. The division focuses on delivering tailored advice and building long-term client relationships to help clients achieve their financial goals.

The Emerging Europe Client Service team supports Relationship Managers and Investment Managers in the day-to-day servicing of clients. During this internship, you will gain practical exposure to client service and account management activities, as well as to the systems, controls and processes supporting international client coverage. You will support operational and client service activities under the guidance of experienced colleagues and collaborate with front-office and control-function stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day client service and account administration activities.
• Assist with client documentation, account openings and periodic reviews.
• Help monitor payments, transfers, balances and product maturities.
• Coordinate client requests with relevant internal teams.
• Support presentations, client meetings and team initiatives.
• Follow internal policies, controls and compliance requirements.

Must-have skills and competencies 

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Interest in client service, banking and financial markets.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage priorities.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Current or completed higher education in finance, banking, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Able to handle confidential information responsibly and follow internal policies.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice-to-have skills and competencies 

• Fluency in at least one Emerging Europe language, preferably Turkish, Greek, Hebrew, Russian or Ukrainian. 

• Previous internship, academic project or other exposure to banking, financial services, client service or an operational environment.
