Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective telephone operation and proactive calendar management to ensure quality services are provided
• Restock, organize, and maintain office inventory
• Manage the branch’s general email
• Manage mail service including receiving, sorting, forwarding of incoming mails & packages, and postmarking and sending outgoing mails & packages
• Assist with employees’ weekly sign-in sheets
• Coordinate and organize internal meetings, including meeting room reservations, meeting room set-up, and clean-up
• Handle accounts payable bills / monthly invoices, and expense report
• Liaise routine services with contracted vendors
• Coordinate with the building management for visitor registration and service requests including office maintenance, and etc.
• Ensure cleanliness of the office
• Assist Administration Manager with daily administrative tasks and other operational ad-hoc duties
• Handle staff application for leave, and maintain record files
• Maintain Training Records, Block Leave Tracking, and coordinate training arrangements when necessary
• Assist in handling employees’ benefits including TransitChek, Disability Report and etc.
• Assist the onboarding process including the preparation and administration of all related paperwork, packets, new employee folders, and etc.
