We are currently seeking Insurance Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom clients across insurance, financial services and other industry sectors, supporting a broad range of commercial insurance, coverage, claims, policy, reinsurance and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on a range of insurance matters, including policy coverage, claims, risk, regulatory and business-as-usual issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate insurance-related documentation, including policies, endorsements, broker agreements, reinsurance arrangements, commercial contracts and other supporting documentation.
• Advise insurers, brokers, underwriters, claims teams and internal business stakeholders on legal risk, coverage queries, disputes and commercial matters.
• Work closely with legal, underwriting, claims, compliance, risk and commercial teams to support the efficient delivery of insurance products, services and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, with relevant insurance-law experience gained in private practice or in-house.
• Experience in one or more relevant areas, including policy drafting, coverage, claims, commercial insurance, broker agreements, reinsurance or insurance regulation.
• Strong drafting, review, negotiation and advisory skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
• Excellent commercial awareness, legal judgment, stakeholder-management, communication and analytical skills.
