Instruction will emphasize project-based and hands-on learning. The successful candidate will also contribute to Senior Design projects as assigned. Duties also include teaching general engineering and other courses as needed by the School; mentoring students; and supporting experiential learning, curriculum development, ABET assessment and continuous improvement, recruitment, and School service. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
The School of Engineering offers ABET-accredited programs in Systems, Computer, and Petroleum Engineering. Its BS in Computer Science and MS in Systems Engineering launched in 2026, and its BS in Civil Engineering launches in 2027. This position is part of a strategic faculty expansion in the School of Engineering to hire 10 permanent faculty members, eight tenure-track and two instructional, beginning Fall 2027.
