Overview
Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) product suite and financing to institutional clients, including financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds.

What You’ll Do
- Responsible for covering important institutional clients at a senior level within our Rates Sales team as part of the Short Duration desk
- Have strong relationships with partners, senior Portfolio Managers, principals and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base
- Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities within the Banks and insurance clients
- New business development in particular within the Short duration space
- Drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships. Generate new revenue opportunities for the Rates business
- Think strategically about the Business, stay on top of market themes/trends
Skills You’ll Need
- Series 7 & 63
- Proficient experience in Fixed Income
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

- Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase Deutsche Bank services

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $125,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
