The Inside Sales Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing development of existing and prospective accounts by supporting Sales Representatives within branch location.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to Customer inquiries with business partnership mentality and professionalism.
- Responsible for administrative and operations functions.
- Resolve material issues with vendors.
- Interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders and follow them through the invoicing process.
- Support Sales Representatives as work load permits.
- Initiate item coding of orders, enter sales orders, issue purchase orders to vendors, and expedite open orders.
- Support efforts to exceed sales goals, increase market share and improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma and/or equivalent
- Process, administrative, operations and SAP experience a plus
- Positive and assertive attitude
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)
- Oral and written communication skills, both internal and external
- Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment
