Information Analyst III, Workforce Management

Position Summary

The Information Analyst III, Workforce Management is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support workforce planning, operational performance, business decision-making, and regulatory compliance. This role partners closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to identify reporting needs, analyze trends, improve data quality, and develop scalable analytics solutions.

As a senior analyst, this position leads complex analytical initiatives, establishes reporting standards and best practices, mentors less experienced analysts, and drives data-informed decisions that support organizational goals. The Information Analyst III serves as a trusted advisor for workforce analytics and business intelligence needs across multiple functional areas.

This is a hybrid role, located on our campus in Mountlake Terrace WA

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, define reporting requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve operational performance, reduce costs, support compliance, and enhance workforce effectiveness.
  • Design, develop, document, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions that support workforce management and organizational decision-making.
  • Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Develop automated reporting and dashboard solutions that improve visibility into key workforce, operational, and business performance metrics.
  • Validate and peer review analytical work, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, operational databases, and overall analytical efficiency; recommend and implement solutions.
  • Lead complex analytical projects and cross-functional initiatives, coordinating efforts to achieve project goals and measurable business outcomes.
  • Analyze and resolve complex reporting and data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, reporting standards, data definitions, and process documentation.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to analysts and business partners on reporting tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Assist with project planning by estimating resource requirements, effort, timelines, and project complexity.
  • Develop workforce analytics, forecasting, capacity planning, scheduling, and operational performance reporting to support workforce management strategies.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data validation, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience designing and developing reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support business decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, workforce management, or a related industry.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and large-scale data environments.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, or modern analytics environments.
  • Experience developing workforce analytics, staffing models, forecasting solutions, scheduling analytics, or operational performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of contact center operations, workforce planning, or healthcare operational analytics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, and data analytics methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, data governance, and reporting best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead analytical initiatives, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to mentor analysts and promote best practices in reporting, analytics, and data management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, healthcare data, health insurance concepts, and workforce management principles.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytical and reporting solutions that drive measurable results.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$92,400.00 - $157,100.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
