About this Infectious Diseases Physician role at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians

The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), seeks BC/BE infectious diseases physician with specific training and experience caring for immunocompromised patients at the Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level for a full-time clinical position providing care to this population. This physician will serve as a clinician and educator at the BIDMC largely focused on our bone marrow transplant and hematologic malignancy program both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Division of Infectious Diseases includes 30 full-time members with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School. The division has a strong basic and clinical research mission, provides superb teaching to students, residents and fellows, and provides outstanding clinical care for both general ID and immunocompromised patients.

Pay Range:
$164,000 - $332,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
