About this Industry Analysis Intern role at General Motors

Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to HQ Building in Shanghai, China three to five times per week by needs.
The Role -
Support GM China in market and competitive analysis, NEV portfolio planning, and content preparation, while exploring AI-based tools and models to improve forecasting and daily work efficiency.
What You’ll Do -
- Support SGMW new product info visualization (product one page)
- Support benchmark data analysis of portfolio potential studies, including:
- a. SGMW NG Car-C upgrade
- b. SGMW NG hatchback Car-B upgrade
- c. SGMW NG mainstream SUV-C upgrade
- d. SGMW NG smart Car-D upgrade
- e. SGMW all-new boxy SUV-C
- f. SGMW all-new NEV Truck-L
- g. SGMW all-new NEV Pickup-D
- h. SGMW all-new NEV Van-B
- Support MIIT new product type approval announcement record
- Support GM China Key-Opinion-Employee livestream weekly
- Routine miscellaneous as needed
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors or Masters Student in a top university
- At least 3 working days per week for 6+ months
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Critical thinking/Strategic Agility, Drive for results, Interpersonal skills. Good level of analytical ability / organizational skills, excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentations)
- Strong interest in Automotive industry, strong willingness to learn and self-motivation
- Modelling or programming skill preferred
