Industrialization Plastic Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• creates a written technology proposal for product industrialization and coordinates it with the production team and the Production Planning team
• when needed, prepares information for Controlling department about determining cost per plastic piece, on the base of 3D data
• participates in meetings for presenting and coordination of details with representatives of design engineers and production teams
• on the base of 3D data or a 3D model of a component creates data for industrialization equipment
• creates equipment and injection tools drawings for the produced components
• creates industrialization equipment for processing of components
• considers the industrialization technology in relation to health and safety
• enters equipment data and tools drawings in technical archive
• prepares requests for making injection mould
• collaborates during trial production of new components
• prepares and submits for approval a compliance report for components
• collaborates in case of analysis of the suitability of the detail in trial production
• follows up the trial production till the stage of a produced component

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

• University education – Mechanical Engineer

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• has knowledge about the types of 2D and 3D data, design lay-outs, tolerances and assemblies, surface roughness, materials, technical suitability for production of the technical concepts 
• knows the main characteristics and technical indices of plastic raw materials used in the company
• knows in detail the technical concept and technology of the main products and their components
• knows the stages for industrialization of a product in production
• knows the technical equipment in the respective production process /Production of Plastic parts and Assembly/

• knows the production technology in the respective production process /Production of Plastic parts and Assembly/
• to be able to make the needed engineering calculations
• CAD / CAM: Advanced Solid Modeling, Advanced Surface Modeling, Drawing Creation, Assembly Creation, work with data base of components (3D data)        
• SAP – to be able to use data, extracted from SAP
• VIQS – to be able to read and analyze data
• MS Office – MS Excel, MS Word
• English – level Pre-Intermediate
