Silgan Containers is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician / PLC Programmer to join our Plover, Wisconsin manufacturing team. - $35.82 - $40.61 per hour
- 12-hour rotating shifts
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Rotate between days and nights each month
- Your complete yearly schedule is provided on your first day — so you can plan your life well in advance

What You'll Do
As an Industrial Electrician / PLC Programmer, you'll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. You'll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex electrical issues while helping develop the next generation of electricians.
- Lead troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex industrial electrical systems
- Mentor and train entry-level and journeyman electricians
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and support Allen-Bradley PLC systems
- Oversee and support PLC programming and controls-related work
- Develop and implement preventative electrical maintenance strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Ensure electrical installations, repairs, and modifications meet safety and compliance requirements
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure proper electrical safety practices
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced electrician who can take ownership, solve problems, and serve as a technical resource for the team.
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Strong PLC troubleshooting/programming experience
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Ability to mentor, train, and provide technical leadership to other electricians
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and electrical compliance
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including days and nights
