Job description & Summary

The Frontier Deployment Consultant (FDC),Gen AI is a client-embedded builder-advisor responsible for converting high-value enterprise AI opportunities into secure, reliable and production-ready agentic systems. The role combines structured consulting, executive stakeholder management and hands-on engineering. You will work within client infrastructure, data, security and release processes to take workflows from hypothesis and prototype through production deployment, adoption and measurable business value.  

FDCs operate in small delivery pods and are accountable for time-to-value, reliability, adoption, unit economics and client self-sufficiency. The role requires 50–70% onsite presence and may involve travel across India, GCC hub cities and client headquarters. Managers typically spend 50–70% of their time building; Senior FDCs spend approximately 30–40% building while leading account outcomes, architecture, governance and CXO relationships.  

Responsibilities:   

• Diagnose and prioritize workflows where agentic AI can materially improve cost-to-serve, cycle time, throughput, revenue leakage or total cost of ownership.  

• Partner with CEOs, COOs, CDOs, CTOs, CISOs, CFOs and business leaders to shape the value case, delivery scope, adoption model and measurable outcomes.  

• Build working 0→1 prototypes rapidly and convert validated concepts into production systems rather than presentation-only deliverables.  

• Design and implement multi-agent architectures, including planner–executor patterns, agent handoffs, durable state, checkpointing, retries, cancellation and human-in-the-loop escalation.  

• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent-to-agent interoperability, model routing, fallback and hybrid pipelines across LLMs, SLMs and traditional ML components.  

• Design retrieval and knowledge solutions covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, re-indexing, reranking, hybrid search, graph retrieval, knowledge graphs, semantic layers and RAG evaluation.  

 

 

 

Mandatory skill sets:   

• FDC, Python, including typing, testing, packaging and profiling, plus one of TypeScript/Node.js, Go or Java.  

• Demonstrated production experience in at least two frameworks such as LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel or Pydantic AI.  

• Ingestion and chunking design, embedding lifecycle, re-indexing, reranking, hybrid/graph retrieval and RAG evaluation.  

Preferred skill sets:   

• Knowledge graph, ontology and semantic-layer experience using Neo4j, GraphRAG or equivalent.  

• Delivery experience within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or global business services environment.  

• Industry depth in BFSI, life sciences, energy, telecom or industrial products.  

• Process fluency in S2P, O2C, R2R, claims, KYC/AML or clinical operations.  

• Deployment experience in regulated, data-resident or air-gapped environments.  

• Process-mining or workflow-discovery experience using Celonis or equivalent.  

• Open-source contributions, published technical writing or conference participation in agentic AI.  

• Non-linear backgrounds such as technical founder, staff engineer with client-facing experience, or consultant with strong production engineering depth.  

Years of experience required:  10- 14 yrs 

Education qualification:   

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent capability demonstrated through relevant work experience. BE/BTech/MTech/MCA or equivalent qualifications are suitable.
