Think you have what it takes?

This is a single blended position based in Bengaluru within Kaufman Rossin's internal Information Technology department. One person owns both Scrum Master and Product Owner/Business Analyst functions for internal IT initiatives. The role partners directly with US-based IT stakeholders as an equal contributor, proactively driving requirements conversations and jointly defining solutions while facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching the Bengaluru delivery team.

Requirements

How You’ll Contribute:

Product Owner Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the internal IT product backlog, ensuring every Epic, Feature, Story, and Task is well-defined, prioritized, and sprint-ready.
  • Own the work-item hierarchy: Epics to Features to user stories to tasks, with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with US-based IT stakeholders as a peer to drive requirements, challenge assumptions, and co-define solutions.
  • Lead backlog refinement with the Bengaluru engineering and delivery teams

Business Analysis Responsibilities

  • Jointly lead discovery and requirements sessions with internal US IT stakeholders, actively driving conversations rather than only documenting them.
  • Produce BRDs, functional specifications, process-flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria, collaboratively reviewed with US counterparts.
  • Own requirements traceability so every delivered feature connects to a documented internal business or technology requirement.
  • Translate complex internal technology, automation, integration, infrastructure, security, and operational workflows into structured user stories.

Scrum Master Responsibilities

  • Facilitate sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives across internal IT initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on Jira and Azure DevOps administration, including boards, workflows, hierarchy, sprint setup, automation, and reporting.
  • Remove impediments, protect sprint integrity, track and report delivery metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement and coach the Bengaluru team on agile principles and self-organization

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Engage US IT leaders, internal product owners, technical leads, and business-system stakeholders as a peer; proactively initiate requirements conversations and propose solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships across internal IT and with the departments supported by IT, developing genuine knowledge of KR's systems and operating environment.
  • Prepare and deliver structured status updates, backlog reviews, sprint metrics, and requirement walkthroughs for US audiences.
  • Coordinate across internal IT workstreams while maintaining clear ownership, priorities, dependencies, and escalation paths.

What Skills You’ll Bring:

  • 4+ years of Scrum Master, Product Owner, and/or Business Analyst experience in agile delivery, including 2+ years in a blended or dual-capacity role.
  • SAFe certification - SAFe Agilist, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or SAFe Scrum Master - is mandatory.
  • Hands-on Jira and Azure DevOps experience, including board configuration, work-item hierarchy, sprint setup, workflow automation, and reporting.
  • Proven business-analysis skills in process mapping, requirements traceability, use-case documentation, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Experience working with distributed delivery teams and stakeholders across US and India time zones.
  • Excellent written and spoken English for stakeholder communication, technical documentation, presentations, and vendor interactions.

Success In the Role

Success means establishing a reliable, transparent delivery structure for internal IT: a prioritized and sprint-ready backlog, well-run agile ceremonies, traceable requirements, clear delivery metrics, timely escalation of impediments, and trusted working relationships between US stakeholders and the Bengaluru delivery team

Benefits

  • Work-Life Balance
  • People First Company
  • Hybrid work policy
  • Working directly with peers in the US
