About this HR Generalist (Third-Party Contract) role at Ecolab
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of Human Resources processes across the employee lifecycle. This position is offered through a third-party employment arrangement. The role is responsible for delivering efficient HR operations, managing employee transactions, supporting recruitment and contingent workforce activities, administering compensation and performance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, salary changes, leaves, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR data in Workday or a similar HRIS platform.
- Partner with managers and HR stakeholders to ensure timely processing of employee transactions.
- Support payroll-related activities and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for HR operational inquiries and employee support.
Performance & Compensation Administration
- Support annual performance management, and salary review cycles.
- Coordinate performance review activities and monitor completion of key milestones.
- Prepare and validate compensation-related data, ensuring governance and approval requirements are met.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits teams to implement salary adjustments and compensation changes.
Recruitment & Contingent Workforce Support
- Support recruitment activities from requisition approval through onboarding.
- Coordinate interviews, offer documentation, candidate communications, and hiring transactions.
- Manage contingent workforce onboarding, extensions, transfers, renewals, and offboarding.
- Liaise with hiring managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment and contingent workforce experience.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
- Support audits and compliance requirements by maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality, data integrity, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to HR process improvements, system enhancements, and operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of HR experience in HR Operations, Employee Services, or Generalist roles.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, recruitment, compensation, and performance processes.
- Hands-on experience with Workday or a similar HRIS platform.
- Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
