Job Description:
The Clinical House Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of patient care services and oversees hospital operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Collaborates with the hospital risk manager to address risk and safety issues and ensures follow-up. Functions as a “superuser” for Information Systems (PIM, EPIC, Develop You, Maxsys, API Time & Attendance). Addresses issues, complaints, and concerns in keeping with promotion of a healing environment. This position serves as a clinical nurse expert as the individual spends majority of his/her time (>50%) coordinating, ensuring and supporting direct patient care activities on the unit through provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; assuring the provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
