Summary of Job Duties:

The Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences seeks to hire an intern to work with its Marketing & Communications team (MARCOMM), supporting web design and content creation. Interns will work alongside the office’s full-time staff members to strategize and produce written content for the college’s web sites and publications.

Primary Responsibilities
• Consolidate and edit CSS/HTML across all Fulbright College websites
• Create HTML5 snippets
• Conduct accessibility audits and fix accordingly
• Utilize web content management systems (Modern Campus & WordPress) to complete tasks
• Update and improve UI/UX
• Work alongside other interns to create and revise web content
• Other tasks may be assigned, as this internship will be specifically tailored to the strengths and interests of the intern

Additional Responsibilities
• Collaborating with team members using Outlook, Teams, and project management tools
• Participating in weekly team meetings and regular check-ins with supervisor
• Supporting other communications and content projects based on team needs and intern interests

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience web page creation, HTML5 coding and CSS styling
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Come to work with a willingness to work hard and learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, organized, disciplined and collaborative
