About this Host role at Shimano
Introduction
The Host is responsible for creating an unforgettable experience for visitors to the Shimano Experience Center by providing product information, inspiration on Shimano's legacy, promoting sales and providing excellent hospitality during events. The Host must act as an ambassador for the Shimano brand and ensure that visitors feel welcome, informed and enthused.The Challenge
1. Inform on product knowledge of Shimano products:
o Provide visitors with detailed information on the various Shimano products, such as bicycle parts, accessories, and technologies.
o Actively listen to the visitor's needs to provide appropriate product information and advice.
o Ensuring up-to-date product knowledge, including new product launches and innovations from Shimano.
2. Inspire about the Shimano Experience Centre and Shimano's legacy:
o Getting visitors excited about the Shimano brand by sharing stories about the company's history, values and innovativeness.
o Creating an inspiring experience that shows visitors how Shimano has influenced and continues to influence the world of cycling and fishing.
o Conveying the passion for cycling and the Shimano brand to leave a lasting impression on visitors.
3. Activate to sales:
o Actively contribute to product sales by advising customers, enthusing them and guiding them through the selection process.
o Provide a positive shopping experience that wins customer trust and encourages them
o Identify sales opportunities and promote up- and cross-selling of products.
4. Unburdening in the form of hospitality during the daily operation and events:
o Hospitality: Welcome our daily visitors and ensure an excellent experience during the daily operations.
o Ensuring smooth execution during events.
o Managing guests' expectations and providing additional support where needed to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
o Ensuring a welcoming, friendly and professional appearance of the Shimano Experience Centre.
