Essential Functions:
- Provides home visits to women and their families for the duration of the NFP program.
- Delivers individualized, comprehensive care across the six programmatic domains: personal health, environmental health, life course development, maternal role, family & friends, and health & human services.
- Contributes to a positive work environment that promotes productivity, mentoring, teamwork and cooperation. Actively participates in case conferences, team meetings, one to one supervision, and departmental meetings.
- Stays informed of current healthcare developments, trends, and professional development to provide safe, quality nurse home visiting services
- Provides education, support, and referral resources in assisting women and their families in attaining their targeted goal.
Education Requirement:
BSN, preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) highly desirable.
Experience:
Two years recent experience in maternal/child health, public health, home visiting or equivalent combination of education/experience, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
