About this Health Physicist role at Standard Nuclear, Inc.
Standard Nuclear is fueling America’s nuclear renaissance at industrial scale. Our mission is to deliver the essential building blocks of nuclear power—enabling cost-effective, safe, and secure energy for the world.
The Health Physicist supports Standard Nuclear’s radiological protection program by evaluating radiation hazards, developing protective measures, and ensuring safe working conditions across nuclear fuel manufacturing, laboratory, and material processing operations. This role provides technical expertise in radiation protection, contamination control, exposure assessment, and regulatory compliance to support safe and efficient operations.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong knowledge of health physics principles, sound judgment, and the ability to translate radiological requirements into practical operational controls. The Health Physicist works closely with radiological control technicians, manufacturing, engineering, EH&S, quality, and licensing teams to identify risks, implement effective controls, and maintain compliance as Standard Nuclear expands its manufacturing capabilities.
