FTP Reporting
- Lead and oversee the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) function, ensuring the FTP framework appropriately supports balance sheet management, business performance measurement and strategic decision-making.
- Provide strategic oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual FTP reporting and financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery.
- Provide advice and guidance to business and support functions on FTP-related matters, including assessment of business proposals, product pricing, funding implications and feasibility of business requests.
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to GALCO and Senior Management on FTP, NIM, funding costs, deposit pricing and other balance sheet management matters.
- Provide independent assessment of deposit campaigns, pricing initiatives and other balance sheet strategies, including their financial, NIM and FTP implications, to support informed management decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of management information, analysis and recommendations to GALCO and other relevant Management and Board committees.
- Drive awareness and understanding of FTP principles and methodologies across the Group through stakeholder engagement, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
FX Liquidity and System (FTP & CPMIS)
- Lead and oversee the monitoring of FX Net Open Position (NOP) for RHB Bank and its subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to internal limits and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate, complete and timely submission of FX NOP and related reporting to GALCO, Bank Negara Malaysia and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide management oversight and recommendations on FX liquidity and balance sheet matters, including escalation of material issues where appropriate.
- Provide strategic oversight of CPMIS systems to ensure they remain robust, reliable and capable of supporting the Group’s evolving business, regulatory and management requirements.
- Lead the assessment and prioritisation of CPMIS system enhancements and change requests, taking into consideration business requirements, regulatory developments, operational risks, implementation complexity and cost-benefit considerations.
- Oversee business impact assessments arising from upstream system changes, new business requirements and changes to regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure appropriate governance over User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including adequacy of test strategies, test scenarios and implementation readiness for material system changes.
- Work closely with IT, Finance, Treasury, Risk and relevant system owners to address system and data issues and ensure appropriate end-to-end solutions.
- Oversee system-related budgets, costs and expenditures, ensuring appropriate financial discipline and effective utilisation of resources.
Others
- Lead and oversee ad hoc strategic analysis, management reporting and information requests from Senior Management, Board committees, business divisions, regulators and other key stakeholders, including Bank Negara Malaysia.
- Undertake other responsibilities and strategic initiatives relating to FTP, balance sheet management, liquidity, profitability, regulatory requirements and systems as assigned by Senior Management.
