RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the Sales and Marketing responsibility for Asia Pacific Region for Business Line (BL) Active Oxygens (AO) for long term profitability and sustainability by growing Sales of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) & Peracetic Acid (PAA).
  • The position shall lead, mentor, and coach the APAC sales team to deliver on sales, business, and financial objectives.
  • To create and lead the short-term and long-term Sales & Marketing strategy/growth plan, Pricing strategy.
  • Achieving the budgeted sales/contribution numbers for the BL in Asia Pacific Region.
  • Finding future avenues for growth in synergy markets, and setting high standards of Integrity and ethical standards and compliance.
  • The position shall drive, and support implementation of best-in-class sales excellence programs including strategic selling, customer account management, and CRM systems.
  • To adhere to the M&S Governance KPI and work efficiently in CRM systems , MS Dynamics tools , Reporting tools of Opportunities, Market data, Visit reports , IBP forecast tool and regularly follow up and monitor and ensure completeness and correctness and drive the sales team discussions for growth and achievement of targets on Sales and Contribution margins.
  • Working closely with the other regions Marketing and Product Business Management teams, to identify opportunities to increase share of wallet at existing customers, grow the existing base of customers, and actively seek cross-selling of the entire AO Materials portfolio.
  • Working closely with SCM Head Asia to check on seamless availability and supply demand planning support and support to fulfill the KPIs.
  • Close coordination and Liase with the Customer Service team to ensure 100% OTIF and 90% customer satisfaction through continuously improving order management process, customer feedback process.
  • Close coordination and Liase with the SCM team and ensure safely 100% OTIF with lowest costs and minimal risk of supply chain.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering/Chemicals.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive commercial and sales experience in specialty chemicals/materials required. Experience in two or more of AO target segments strongly preferred – electronics, semiconductors,food packaging, etc.
  • Expert knowledge in Aseptic Packaging, Poultry Biosecurity, or Wafer fab manufacturing.
  • Application know how of Dialysis, Starch, Laundry, paper, textile etc.
  • Prior leadership experience managing and leading sales teams across countries and Regions requiredUnderstanding of overall AO strategy and ability to align commercial initiatives within the AO Business Group to that strategy.
  • Ability to connect technology trends/needs with strategic and commercial implications to drive business results.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and translate those into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated strength in establishing and maintaining relationships across customer / partner /supplier organizations.
  • Proven track record of strong collaboration while developing a long-term strategy.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment to build organizational alignment.
  • Experience with change management and leading teams through change preferred.
  • Proficient in working with MS Dynamic tools, CRM systems.
  • Interact with, and influence key people both within the company and externally, through superior communication, interpersonal influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in one or more APAC regional languages.
